evaluate
public IExpr evaluate(IAST ast)
Description copied from class:AbstractFunctionEvaluatorSymbolic evaluation of a function.ast.get(0)contains the head (i.e. the function symbol) of this abstract syntax tree (AST).ast.get(1)toast.get(n)contains the first to n-th argument of the function.
If necessary use the methods from theValidateclass to check the number or types of arguments in the evaluate method.
Note: if the symbolic evaluation isn't possible or no result is found the evaluate method returns with anullvalue without throwing an exception!- Specified by:
evaluatein interfaceIFunctionEvaluator- Overrides:
evaluatein classAbstractTrigArg1- Parameters:
ast- the abstract syntax tree (AST) which should be evaluated- Returns:
- the evaluated object or
null, if evaluation isn't possible - See Also:

-
numericEvalD1
public IExpr numericEvalD1(Num arg1)
Description copied from class:AbstractTrigArg1Evaluate this function for one double argument- Overrides:
numericEvalD1in classAbstractTrigArg1- Parameters:
arg1- a double number- Returns:
-
numericEvalDC1
public IExpr numericEvalDC1(ComplexNum arg1)
Description copied from class:AbstractTrigArg1Evaluate this function for one double complex argument- Overrides:
numericEvalDC1in classAbstractTrigArg1- Parameters:
arg1- a double complex number- Returns:
-
gamma
public static java.math.BigInteger gamma(java.math.BigInteger biggi)
-
evaluateArg1
public IExpr evaluateArg1(IExpr arg1)
- Overrides:
evaluateArg1in classAbstractTrigArg1
-
setUp
public void setUp(ISymbol symbol) throws SyntaxError
Description copied from class:AbstractFunctionEvaluatorEvaluate built-in rules and define Attributes for a function.- Specified by:
setUpin interfaceIEvaluator- Overrides:
setUpin classAbstractFunctionEvaluator- Parameters:
symbol- the symbol which should be set up- Throws:
SyntaxError
