public final class OutputList

Singleton list for holding output nodes. It is used as an overview of all computation results that have been generated in textual form.

addOutput

public void addOutput(OutputData dataObject)

Adds an output element to this list. The list will remain sorted after the add operation depending on the current sort mode (name/time). This method does nothing if isOutputHistory returns false.

Parameters:

dataObject - holds output information

Throws:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if (dataObject == null)

removeSelected

public void removeSelected()

Removes all selected elements from this list.

removeAll

public void removeAll()

Removes all elements from this list.

sortByTime

public void sortByTime()

Displays all list elements by their date in ascending order. The selection is kept.

sortByName

public void sortByName()

Displays all list elements by their name in ascending order. The selection is kept.

getInstance

public static OutputList getInstance()

Gets a reference to the singleton instance of this class.

Returns:

instance of OutputList

isSortByTime

public boolean isSortByTime()

Gets whether the elements are sorted by time.

Returns:

true if sorted by time, false if sorted by name

setSortByTime

public void setSortByTime(boolean sortByTime)

Sets whether the elements are sorted by time. If true then new elements are always appended to the end of the list. If this property is false, then the elements are sorted by their name and new elements are added accordingly.

Parameters:

sortByTime - true if sorted by time, false if sorted by name

setParent

public void setParent(javax.swing.JFrame parent)

Sets the parent frame that is used by modal dialogs within a frame.

Parameters:

parent - JFrame to be used as parent

isOutputHistory

public boolean isOutputHistory()

Gets whether output history is on. If this property is false, then addOutput will have no effect. The default is true.

Returns:

true if on, false otherwise

setOutputHistory

public void setOutputHistory(boolean isOutputHistory)

Sets whether output history is on. If this property is false, then addOutput will have no effect.
